💛 💙A BIG THANK YOU to Lukas! 💛💙

Lukas, the son of our wonderful reading interventionist, Ms. Lukas, wanted to help create something special for our school and he went above and beyond! 🛠️✨

Our Lost & Found has been a constant challenge, often overflowing with jackets, sweatshirts, lunchboxes, and all the things our Eagles somehow manage to leave behind. It definitely needed a home!

Lukas generously put his time, talent, and hard work into building us a beautiful, sturdy Lost & Found that we know will last for years to come! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

We are so incredibly thankful for your kindness and willingness to give back to our school, Lukas. What a thoughtful way to make a difference in our school community! 🦅💙💛

💙💛 THANK YOU!💙💛

Today certainly wasn’t how we planned to start our school day, but it was a beautiful reminder of just how incredible our school community is. When our power went out, everyone jumped into action quickly, calmly, and with so much care for our students and families. 🦅

A HUGE thank you to our **District Office** for the quick communication and coordination, to **Mr. B** for navigating the unexpected changes, and to our amazing **Kids Club staff** for helping make sure our students were cared for and families were supported and of course to **Ms. Kirkpatrick** our wonderful custodian who always ensures our school is safe and ready for us all!

To our **MacArthur staff** thank you for your flexibility, patience, and willingness to jump in wherever needed. 💙

To our **parents and families** thank you for your understanding, quick responses, and grace as plans changed so unexpectedly. We know unexpected school cancellations can create a lot of challenges, and we truly appreciate your partnership.

And finally, to our **students** thank you for being so flexible and understanding! Our students in the building did an AMAZING job!

We will miss seeing your smiling faces today, but we are so proud of how our Eagle family handled an unexpected situation. 🦅💛

Days like today remind us that we are so much more than a school, we are a community! When something unexpected happens, we come together, support one another, and make sure our kids come first.
