A Sunny Tuesday with Chaseholm and Long Table!

324lbs of yummy ground beef and 60 quarts of yogurt went to Zion Community Food Pantry today, while the Philmont Library and the free fridges by Kitty’s and Lil Deb’s got some dairy love as well! 486lbs of protein-rich food in total for this quick Tuesday route had everyone feeling pretty good 😎

These moments of joy and levity keep us grounded during these upheaved times. Feeding this community and working with rockin’ farms puts wind in our sails- thank you all for supporting this work in all the ways you do!

Earlier this year we were invited to share about our work at Questar III BOCES Intro to Foods class. A couple weeks ago we delivered a variety of winter squashes for them to use in their curriculum and to take home. And yesterday we joined them to answer questions about Long Table, to learn about how they cooked the squash and share some stone soup. What a delight to connect with young people are food and cooking. Thanks for having us!

Helping each other propels us forward✨

The countless number of times people have offered to help carry heavy crates from my van, to the donations on top of already generous giving that farmers offer. Even to a little spider ramp in a sink at made me pause and reflect today.

It’s hard to digest that today was the last day of the regular gleaning season for 2025!! I look forward to doing more of a season recap soon- but today was a big day despite a small number of pick-ups!

and loaded the van up with the winter essentials- potatoes, squash, cabbage, carrots and sweets. came through with the crispiest apples and also donated some fruit and my personal favorite- Japanese sweet potatoes!

In total, 1,673lbs of produce went out today to help feed the communities of Columbia, Greene and Duchess counties!!

A final Monday route for the 2025 season!

Some donated meat and yogurt and some final winter storage crops made their way to a few site partners today as we wrap up our regular weekly delivery schedule!

A large donation of winter squash from also went to our friends at in Hudson for a food class that will utilize these amazing squash to learn about the food itself, farming, and cooking!

On a personal note, it was exciting today to deliver about 100lbs of donated pork from that came from a pig I was very close to and was grateful to witness her journey. When I went to pick up her meat last Friday I felt so proud of the way she would continue to be celebrated!

In total today, we distributed 894lbs of nutritious food- thank you to the farmers and site partners who made today, and all the Mondays this season, happen!!

Winding down the second-to-last week of distro on this chilllllyyy Tuesday!

I always have to do a slow-roll past cattle when they’re anywhere near the road and blow them misses 🥰 cause guess what they make some DELICIOUS milk which we got to enjoy this week in the form of yogurt which went out to lots of our site partners today 🐄🥳🥛

The fall essentials made the day today- squash, carrots, apples and sweet potatoes! So much goodness, 2,147lbs to be exact, was shared out this cold and blustery Tuesday- thanks to all who made it happen!!!

A dreary fall Monday still delivered some gorgeous color and amazing food!

Admittedly due to the rain today I was only able to mostly get van shots today- but she’s worthy of being photographed, too!

For the second week we picked up an amazing haul of colorful winter squash from , and today we received a super generous donation of beef from which made its way to several of our Monday site partners!

A huge thanks to and for all the incredible produce today- carrots, mushrooms, brassicas and radishes were hugely welcomed today, and summed together weighed 944lbs of food for the people!!

Another bountiful fall Tuesday 🍂🍁❤️✨

Potatoes, butternut, carrots, cauliflower and plenty of meat fed so many of our neighbors today. As I rolled down the roads of Columbia, Greene and Dutchess counties, passing the plentiful farmland that makes this region so abundant, I was deeply affirmed by the work of strangers feeding strangers to no longer become strangers- we become community through this work. Even if we don’t know each other’s faces, we know the intention. And that’s a valuable commodity during these times.

Today, 2,659lbs- you read that right- moved through the van and to the people. Whoa.

My amazement sort of ceases to know a boundary- farmers are incredible. Pantry volunteers are heroes. Site coordinators are the best of us ❤️✨❤️✨

November is upon us, hope you voted, and are surviving the dark!

There was no shortage of carrots and squash today 🥕🥕🥕🎃🎃🎃

This week was my final week having a fellow joining me for the ride and boy was I glad Katie was with me today!!!

Together we moved 2,309lb of food- WHOAAAA! We got our arms working today lifting some heavvvvy stuff 💪

Huge donations of pork and carrots and potatoes and squash and broccoli made it heavy but calorie-dense delivery to pantries and other food distributors that are feeling the need right now.

We need each other more than ever, friends. I’m so grateful for everyone in the network and community. It makes my heart skip a beat- what amazing people are the makers and movers of this amazing food!!!! ✨❤️🥕🥦🥔🧅🧄🍎❤️✨

Cheers to this frosty start to a wonderful Monday!

More fall produce was picked up today like carrots and squash and hearty green kale and collards, but there were some defiant lettuces and tomatoes trying to help us thinking of warmer times!!

A stunning haul of Jamaican pumpkins from brought our total to 1,159lbs today!

And another sweet pick up of stashed LTH crates which always makes me more excited than it should!

See ya tomorrow 🍁✨❤️

I guess I say it every week, but WOW! What a week of produce!! 🥔🍠🥕🥦🍎🧅🧄🎃

Absolute star Adder, Sky High Farm Fellow, accompanied me on today’s route and absolutely crushed it. It was a lot to manage and shuffle and re-arrange in the van with the volume of produce we picked up today- squash, carrots, sweet and regular potatoes- we got our arm and upper-body work in today!!

By 9:30, and had me loaded up with more stuff than I sometimes get in a whole day! So many props and thanks to all the farmers ✨

By the end of the day, we had picked up and distributed 1,825 lb of produce!!!! The crowning jewel of the day was seeing Ms. Annette back on her game after a few weeks’ break- her smile and energy is contagious!

We live in such a bountiful part of the country- what a wonderful way to share it with those that we can!

A little rain this Monday but the colors of the Hudson Valley were on full display!

We are definitely seeing the shift in produce availability- so many sweet and gorgeous roots have emerged from the ground to feed us😍

Beets and carrots were some of the stars today, contributing to a total of 1,098lbs of food that went out and around Columbia County thanks to the farmers!

See ya tomorrow!
