We are on the road! Visit the Enchanted Library today (June 26) from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Fireman's Park in Germantown and tomorrow (June 27) from 10:00am-1:00pm at the Richfield Farmers Market.

Staff Pick of the Week 📚Kristin enjoyed "Dear Mrs. Bird" by AJ Pearce. The main character, Emmy, is a plucky, wholesome hero behind the scenes during WWII. This book was funny, moving and well-written bringing the feels of living in England during the war to life.

Voting is open now until Wednesday, July 1 for the 4th of July - Germantown WI Coloring Contest!!

Thank you to the 200+ individual that submitted an entry - winners will be email by Thursday, July 2 & also announced at the 4th of July Festival.

A huge thank you to our Friends of the Germantown Community Library group!!

The Friends of the Germantown Community Library generously donated $34,000 in funds to the library for 2026.

Funding will go to support over 100 library programs this year such as adult craft classes, Lego Club, Tween/Teen programs as well as special programs such as the Science Heroes on Thursday, July 16 @ 10:30am, End of the Year Foam Party on Saturday, August 8 @ 1:00-2:30pm and The Mammoth Hunter on Thursday, August 13 @ 10:30am. This will also support materials in the Library of Things and Library of Things, Jr. collections. These items include video games, board games, puzzles, craft kits, Wonderbooks & Vox Books and adventures passes where families can visit local attractions free of charge with their library card.

Want to support the Friends? The next pop-up book sale is the Kid's & Teens Sale starting on Thursday, June 25. Most items are $1 each.

Today is the last full day to purchase Adult Fiction Paperbacks for $0.50!! Thursday, June 25 is our official start date of our Kids & Teen Sale ($1 each)! Thank you for supporting the Germantown Community Library!!

Today, Tuesday, June 23, is the LAST FULL DAY of the Adult Fiction $.50 Paperback Pop-up Book Sale. The sale will be packed up tomorrow morning.

Pick up a copy at the library or print the one below (if you print your own copy - make sure to write your name, age & email on the back!) Due by Wednesday, June 24 with public voting June 25 - July 1.

Staff Pick of the Week 📚Paco and his owner Jill recommend "Dogs, Boys, and Other Things I've Cried About" by Isabel Klee. You may need a box of tissues for this touching memoir that's dog-approved!
