As we gather with loved ones to celebrate, we want to take a moment to thank the on-duty firefighters, EMS Staff, Law Enforcement Officers, and E911 Dispatchers who are working today to keep our community safe. Their dedication and selflessness are an inspiration, and we are truly grateful for everything they do.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the families of our firefighters. Your support and sacrifice allow our members to serve with strength and focus, even on this special day.

All outside burning is prohibited until further notice

The County Wide Burn Ban for Bracken County has been lifted effective immediately!

The County-Wide Burn Ban will remain in effect until further notice. We will revisit this once we experience more rainfall throughout Bracken County.

By Executive Order 24-06, Mason Co. Judge Executive Owen McNeill has LIFTED the burn ban for Mason County effective 6/28/24. Exercise caution and have safeguards in place.
