We’re excited to welcome everyone back to our Monthly Market next Tuesday, October 13, from 4:00–5:30 p.m., or until supplies last!
Fresh fruits and vegetables will be available! Come by, pick up some fresh produce, and remember to bring your own reusable bag!

Our Family Literacy Night is on October 28th from 5:00-7:00pm. *New this year*, we will also have Astro's All- Star Treat Trail where students can wear a costume to the event and participate in the Treat Trail which will be similar to a "Trunk or Treat"; however, we will use tables and line the APR/Gym hallway of our school instead. We need parents and caregivers' help! Please sign up to host a table for the evening. You would need to decorate the table in a fun fall or book theme and have treats ready to give our All-Stars wearing costumes. If you'd like to host a table, please complete this survey:

Holiday Giving Project Referrals

As the holiday season approaches, we understand that this time of year can bring both joy and stress. If your family is in need of support this holiday season, we want you to know that help may be available.
We are now accepting referrals for Montgomery County's Holiday Giving Project, which provides assistance such as a gift card, food support, and other holiday-related resources for families in need.
📌 Referral Details:
Referral Deadline: For Thanksgiving - Thursday, October 29th, 2026 and/or December - Friday, November 13th, 2026!
Who is eligible? Families experiencing financial hardship or other challenges.

💙 McAuliffe Pantry & Clothing Closet
I also wanted to let you know that our pantry and clothing closet are open if your family is ever in need. We have non-perishable food items, toiletries, diapers, books, gently used clothing, coats, and other basic-needs items available.
If you need anything, please feel free to text me at 227-216-1194 to schedule an appointment. We are happy to support our McAuliffe families! 💙
