The Cougars finished the Cross Country season with a strong performance at the 3A District 2 meet. The girls team finished 4th out of 11 teams, led by Zina Secrist who finished 15th with a PR time of 23:45. The boys were led by Angel Santos, who finished 12th in a PR of 18:40. Of the 10 Gervais runners who competed, 7 set lifetime bests! Thanks Coach David Castle for all the amazing support. Go Cougs!

Senior night will start at 6:15pm sharp

Homecoming court activities will take place during halftime.
The Gervais Cougars host Salem Academy this Friday, October 23rd at 7:00 p.m.
With all of the construction happening throughout our district, we have some important information for fans attending the game:
📍 Entrance: entrance to the stadium will only be available on the west side of the stadium (near the District Office). The district office is on 1st street off of Douglas Ave.
Parking: Closest parking will be at the District Office which is on 1st street off of Douglas Avenue, or you can park at the high school and walk a block to the district office.
🕔 Gates Open: 5:45 p.m.
🎟️ Admission:
• Adults: $8
• Students, Senior Citizens, and Military: $5
• Children ages 5 and under: Free
• Gervais high school students with a current student ID: Free -- Middle and Elementary students $2
Concessions (Gervais Food Truck) (will be open and running)
🚫 NEW THIS YEAR: NO RE-ENTRY
Once you exit the stadium, you will not be permitted to re-enter.

The Cougars ran well at the Valiant Invitational Tuesday, with all five boys running personal best times over the 3K course, with senior Angel Santos breaking 11:00 minutes with a time of 10:58. Zina Secrist led the girls with a school record time of 13:42. We are so proud of all our runners and appreciate Coach Castle for all his support and encouragement.

Our FFA students have been hard at work growing pumpkins and collecting donated pumpkins for our GES elementary students. They are planning a fun and engaging pumpkin patch experience for them. This is so awesome.

We are very excited to announce that the Gervais Middle and High Schools Athletic Department has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.

You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and after any update.

Click on the Parent Playbook (attached) to get started in FinalForms. If you require any support during the process, scroll to the page bottom and click “Get Help”.

We are asking the parents/guardians of all students planning to play sports to create accounts in FinalForms and register your student(s).

We appreciated having Marine Corps recruiter Sergeant Sales at GHS. We had a pull-up challenge for our students, was giving our swag, and sharing information about opportunities in the Marines. We appreciate his service and example on campus. Oohrah!
