We are excited to share that the Gervais Police Department is entering a new chapter—one focused on enhanced transparency, stronger community partnerships, and meaningful engagement.

In the coming weeks and months, you’ll see new efforts designed to bring our department and community closer together. From expanded communication and behind-the-scenes insight into how we serve, to increased opportunities for community interaction, our goal is simple: build trust, strengthen relationships, and work together to keep Gervais a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

We believe that public safety is a shared responsibility, and the strongest communities are built on connection, understanding, and collaboration.

💙 April is National Autism Awareness Month, and the Gervais Police Department is proud to stand in support of this important cause.

Autism affects individuals and families throughout our community, and increasing awareness helps foster understanding, compassion, and meaningful connections. As part of our commitment, our officers are honored to wear the Autism Awareness patch on their uniforms throughout the month as a visible sign of support.

We recognize that every interaction matters. By promoting awareness and continuing to learn, we strive to better serve and connect with all members of our community.

Together, we can build a safer, more inclusive Gervais—one rooted in understanding, respect, and support for everyone.

💙 💙
