COMMUNITY UPDATE
Things are moving forward at the Adams County Sheriff’s Office!
Recently, two sheriffs office members attended the Sheriff’s Academy physical fitness testing held at Penn State University. This challenging assessment consists of a vertical jump, push-ups, sit-ups, a 300-meter sprint, and a 1.5-mile run.
Both candidates performed exceptionally well and represented Adams County with professionalism, determination, and pride. Their efforts are helping establish a standard of excellence for future deputies and demonstrate the level of commitment we expect from those who serve our community.
We are also proud to share that we currently have a Deputy in the academy who is now in Week 11 of their 19-week program, with 8 weeks remaining until graduation. Their continued progress reflects the dedication, discipline, and hard work required to serve in law enforcement, and we look forward to welcoming them back to the field upon completion.
These milestones are not achieved in isolation. I would like to personally thank our administrative staff and leadership team. The countless hours of dedication, hard work, and commitment you invest in the success of this office do not go unnoticed. Your efforts behind the scenes are instrumental in keeping our office moving forward and achieving our goals.
We are steadily building public trust through transparency in everything we do, and we remain committed to that standard moving forward.
Together, we are building an office that Adams County can be proud of.
