**What an incredible day at Operation Honor – Rural Salute PA! 🇺🇸**

Today was about so much more than setting up a tent—it was about building relationships, sharing our mission, and connecting with our community.

We had the privilege of introducing so many wonderful people to the **Marine Corps League -Gettysburg Battlefield Detachment 705** and sharing what we're all about: honoring those who have served, supporting veterans and their families, serving our community, and preserving the traditions of the United States Marine Corps.

Throughout the day we:
🇺🇸 Met so many amazing people and made meaningful new connections.
🎟️ Sold Veteran & Youth Raffle tickets to help support our mission.
❤️ Received generous donations that will directly benefit our detachment and the work we do in our community.
🌹 Gave away Marine Roses as a small token of gratitude.
🧸 Watched countless kids—and quite a few adults!—light up with excitement as they won prizes from our claw machine.

The smiles, conversations, stories, and heartfelt moments reminded us why we do what we do. Every handshake, every shared memory, and every new friendship strengthened our commitment to serving others.

A sincere **thank you** to everyone who stopped by our tent, purchased raffle tickets, made a donation, accepted a Marine Rose, played the claw machine, or simply took a few moments to learn about the Marine Corps League. Your support helps us continue serving veterans, military families, youth, and our local community.

We are grateful to the organizers of **Operation Honor – Rural Salute PA** for hosting such a wonderful event and giving organizations like ours the opportunity to connect with so many people.
