🚨DRAWING CONTEST TIME🚨

Use your imagination and draw your best picture with this years fire safety theme, “Charge into Fire Safety.”

Entries can be dropped off with a fireman, or at City Hall with Dawn on or before our open house, Sunday, October 5 between 4-6 pm.

All ages up to 12 are welcome to participate. Drawings will be sorted by age and judged. Please leave your name, age, and best contact on the back of your drawings. Have fun!

Retired firefighter, Pat Byrne, passed away on March 8th 2025. Pat was active with the Ghent Fire Dept. for 25 years. Pat and his Crew helped build the current fire hall in Ghent. Pat's funeral service will be held Saturday May 1Oth at 10:30 am at St Eloi Church in Ghent.

We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Ted Deroode. Teddy was an Icon in the Ghent community! He served 34 years on the Ghent Fire Dept along with many years on the council as well as the mayor of Ghent. He will be greatly missed throughout the community ..
