🔥🔥WOO HOO today is the day we have been waiting for...8/8/2026.... It's CRAFT FAIR DAY.
We have around 30 vendors, food trucks, raffle, 50/50. We also have a Firetruck there for the kiddos and we will have applications for anyone that would like to consider becoming a Volunteer Firefighter or Auxiliary member.
Hope to see you, It's at 1006 Rt. 9h Ghent. It is the former Kozel's Restaurant. It's in the back in the parking lot. 🔥11am to 4pm🔥

HEADLINE: Flash Flood Warning issued July 29 at 7:24AM EDT until July 29 at 1:30PM EDT by NWS Albany NY

DESCRIPTION: FFWALY

The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Columbia County in east central New York...
Northeastern Greene County in east central New York...
Southwestern Rensselaer County in east central New York...

* Until 130 PM EDT Wednesday.

* At 724 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Troy, East Greenbush, Rensselaer, Hudson, Chatham, Nassau, Claverack, New Baltimore, Coxsackie, Valatie, Athens, Castleton-On-Hudson, Philmont, Kinderhook, Lorenz Park, Claverack-Red Mills, West Sand Lake, Averill Park, Wynantskill and Wyantskill.

INSTRUCTIONS: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
