At our meeting this week, we officially welcomed new members Kathi and Susan to Northern Columbia County Rotary - we're so happy to have you!

We were joined by visitors from the Hudson Rotary Club, Rotary District 7210 past District Governor Beau, and Assistant District Governor Elena. It's always an honor and a pleasure when they visit.

Our next meeting will be Thursday, September 10 at Hilltop Orchards: Home of Furnace Brook Winery, Berkshires, MA at 6pm. New faces are always welcome - will we see you? Feel free to send us a message for more information.

We'll be meeting this Thursday, August 27 at the Whitestone Cafe in Ghent at 6pm. Joining us will be Past Rotary District 7210 Governor Beau O'Loendorf, installing our new club secretary and induction two new club members.

Thanks for a great evening! Our club met in New Lebanon and was joined by several visitors, including Georgette of Charlie's Pantry who shared with us the history and mission of this important community resource.

We'd like to send a big THANK YOU to our visitors, speaker, and members, as well as Jimmy D's Pizza Royale.

Our next meeting will be Thursday, August 27 at 6pm at the White Stone Cafe in Ghent. We're looking forward to inducting our two newest club members.

Reminder: we'll be meeting tomorrow evening (Thursday, August 13) at 6pm at Jimmy D's Pizza Royale in New Lebanon.

This will be a mostly social meeting. There's no fee to attend, and the restaurant has graciously agreed to make the full regular menu available and provide individual checks for each party - simply buy your dinner, and spend some time with the club.

All are welcome. If you're curious about what Northern Columbia County Rotary does in your community, and the people behind it, please consider joining us.

We'll be meeting this Thursday, August 13 at 6pm at Jimmy Dee's Pizza Royale in New Lebanon, and we'd love to have you join us!

The regular menu will be available, and the restaurant has graciously agreed to give each attendee/party an individual check, so you know exactly what you're spending. There's no fee to attend - just sit with us, and pay for your dinner.

Yes, we usually meet in Ghent or Richmond MA (just over the border) - this is a special opportunity for our membership to engage with one of the communities we regularly support via food pantry donations, scholarships, etc.

We'll be joined by a representative from Charlie's Pantry, who will be sharing the Pantry's mission and needs with us.

Want to meet some cool people and learn about what we do to support your community?

Then join us for dinner at Jimmy D's Pizza Royale in New Lebanon on Thursday, August 13 at 6pm. There's no cost to attend, just buy your dinner and hang out with us. All are welcome, so bring your spouse or partner, your friends, parents, or kids.

While we typically meet in Ghent or Richmond (just over the state line), we wanted to take this opportunity to show up for New Lebanon. While we regularly support the food pantry, school, and other projects in the town, we don't always have the chance to be present in a more visible way. So here we are!

Message us with questions, or just show up. Either way, we look forward to meeting you.

We often say we're "doing good and having fun" - and today was no exception.

Sometimes we're dropping off supplies at local food pantries, sometimes we're showing up to support other community organizations, and sometimes we're custom decorating club t-shirts.

Our club attends events, raises funds, and supports local initiatives throughout Northern Columbia County - and our next meeting will be in New Lebanon! We'd be honored if you'd consider joining us.

What do we do within Northern Columbia County?

๐ŸŽ Our annual October apple sale raises funds that help us sponsor high school sophomores' attendance at leadership camp and scholarships for graduating seniors

๐Ÿ“š We support literacy in our community by donating books, dictionaries and more

๐Ÿฅฆ We regularly support local food pantries in Ghent, Chatham, and New Lebanon

๐Ÿค We partner with community organizations to raise funds for and awareness of important programs

โ–ถ๏ธ And so much more! We've done community cleanups, hosted fun family events, donated equipment to our county EMS, distributed winter gear and clothing throughout the county...(and that's still not everything)

โ”What will we do next? The best way to help us decide is to GET INVOLVED. We do good in our own neighborhoods, and we have fun doing it. Please consider joining us for this meeting. You'll get to learn about Charlie's Pantry, meet some cool people (we're rather fond of our membership) and get/share ideas about our beautiful county and how we can support it.
