Glascock County Sheriff Jeremy Kelley Sheriff of Glascock County Jeremy Kelley is a life long resident of Glascock County. Jeremy is the son of Jerry and Nickie Kelley.

He married Jennifer Land Kelley in April 2011 and together they have two daughters, Emma Faith and Ryer Lannae. He has been with the Glascock County Sheriff's Office for the past 10 years and served as Chief Deputy from 2011 until December 2016. Jeremy took office as Sheriff January 1, 2017. Jeremy is also a member of the Glascock County Fire Department and Gibson First Baptist Church. Jeremy is honored to serve as your Sheriff.

🚨 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚨

The Glascock County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform the public that State Route 171 North is currently closed from Carl Harrell Road to Chalker Road due to a motor vehicle accident.

The roadway will remain closed until further notice.

Please avoid the area and use an alternate route. We will provide updates as soon as they become available.

Please drive safely and use caution in the area.

As the new school year begins, the Glascock County Sheriff’s Office would like to wish all of the students, teachers, staff, and families of Glascock County Consolidated School System a safe, successful, and enjoyable first day of school!

Please remember that school buses will be back on the road and school zones will be active. We ask everyone to slow down, stay alert, eliminate distractions, and allow extra travel time during the morning and afternoon commute.

đźš§ Important Traffic Information for the First Week of School đźš§

To help improve traffic flow during morning arrival, all incoming school traffic will be routed to the north entrance of School Circle from Beall Springs Road.

Additionally, the School Circle intersection closest to town will be CLOSED to incoming traffic each morning from 7:25 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. Please plan your route accordingly and follow all posted signs and directions from school staff and law enforcement officers.

Your patience and cooperation will help ensure our students arrive safely each morning.

Today, the Glascock County Sheriff’s Office is proud to congratulate Sheriff Jeremy Kelley on his election as Second Vice President of the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association.

The election was held during the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association’s Annual Summer Training Conference and Business Meeting in July. This achievement is a testament to Sheriff Kelley’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving not only the citizens of Glascock County but also the law enforcement profession across the State of Georgia.
