We’re Extending Applications for the 2027 Juneteenth Planning Committee!

We would love to add more community members to our Juneteenth Planning Committee!

Planning needs to begin soon, and we’re looking for people who are ready to get involved — not only by sharing ideas and helping with planning, but also by being there on event day to help make the celebration happen.

A successful event takes a great team! We need committee members who are willing to help with planning, preparation, setup, activities, and hands-on support throughout the day.

If you’re interested in being part of the team that helps bring the 2027 Gibsonville Juneteenth Celebration to life, please apply!

We’re closing out our Live on the Green summer concert series with one final night of live music in Downtown Gibsonville!

Grab your lawn chairs, bring your family and friends, and join us on the Green as HWY 42 Band takes the stage for our LAST Live on the Green of the summer!

Come early, enjoy dinner from one of our downtown restaurants, pick up a coffee to fuel up for the evening, enjoy a beverage in the social district, and settle in for a beautiful September night right in the heart of Gibsonville.

One last summer night on the Green — let’s make it a good one, Gibsonville!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HEIDI!

If you’ve spent any time at Gibsonville Parks & Recreation, chances are you know Heidi — and chances are, you love her just as much as we do!

From senior programs and kids’ activities to soccer, Community Center programs, and about a million things in between, Heidi keeps things moving and brings so much heart to everything she does. She knows our community, cares deeply about the people in it, and somehow manages to keep all of us on track while doing it!

Heidi is truly one of the people who makes Gibsonville Parks & Recreation such a special place, and today we are so happy to celebrate HER!
