๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Memorial Day ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today, FD28 honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of the holiday and remember those who gave everything for our freedom.

From all of us at FD28, we thank our fallen heroes and their families for their sacrifice.

๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ’ฆ Tuesday night training at FD 28 looked a little differentโ€ฆ and a whole lot wetter! ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿš’

With the heat turned up this week, our firefighters cooled off with a friendly game of โ€œFireman Tug-of-War.โ€ While it may look like all fun and games, this training helps build nozzle control, teamwork, communication, and hose handling skills under pressure. The goal? Spray the jug across the line before the other team does โ€” all while getting blasted with water yourself! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’ช

Training like this also reminds us that the firefighters on the hose arenโ€™t the only important part of the operation. Behind-the-scenes pump operators kept the trucks running and maintained the water supply throughout the drill, sharpening their truck operation skills at the same time. ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ”ฅ

To wrap up the evening, everyone cooled down with a dip in the drop tank after a hot summer training night. Great training, great teamwork, and plenty of laughs all around! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿš’โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ง
