Great night of training alongside the Wi******er Area Volunteer Fire Department

Crews came together for a joint hose deployment training, focusing on efficiency, communication, and getting water on the fire quickly when it matters most. Working side by side helps strengthen coordination between departments and builds the teamwork that’s critical on real calls.

We appreciate the opportunity to train together and continue sharpening our skills to better serve our communities.

Today we honor the life and legacy of Arthur Noack, a founding member of the South Lee County Volunteer Fire Department.

Arthur was more than just a firefighter, he was a pillar of our community, a man who helped lay the foundation for what our department stands for today: service, dedication, and brotherhood. His commitment to protecting others and giving back will never be forgotten.

Because of Arthur’s vision and hard work, generations of firefighters have been able to serve this community with pride. His legacy lives on in every call answered and every life touched.

Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Arthur. We’ll take it from here.

Go out and support Lincoln VFD tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the day for a long-standing community tradition.

Join the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department for their Good Friday Barbecue at the Lincoln Community Picnic Grounds. Plates will be ready starting at 9:00 a.m. with pork, beef, mutton, sausage, and chicken, plus all the classic sides you know and love.

Don’t forget to stop by the St. John Ladies Aid bake sale for something sweet.

Make plans to come out, enjoy a great meal, and support the volunteers who do so much for our community.
