Hey guys, it's days three and four of EMS week. Yesterday, we had some yummy sandwich trays from Brookshire Brothers. Thank you to Reba's for feeding the crews great hamburgers for lunch. They also got some great little gifts. Then Jenni's Ice Cream in Austin provided dessert. We appreciate our employees' hard work.

Day two of EMS week, we loved having all the visitors during Coffee with a Medics. Thank you to all the City and County officials who came out, Camp Tejas, Chamber of Commerce, friends and family, and all the people from the community. All the kids that came had a great time exploring the ambulances. ïŋžA big thank you to Gloria Pillock for the awesome coffee cakes, also to The New Horizons Lions Club for the amazing chicken spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, and espresso cake for lunch. Thank you to Brookshire Brothers for the meat and cheese tray and cake. Starbucks for providing all the coffee this morning, Walmart for bringing so many snacks and drinks for grab-and-go, and Kirsten Siegmund with The Broken Shovel Bakery for the amazing sourdough cookies. And of course, thank you to Sylvia and Ruth Mersiovsky, who started the service back in 1969. It was a great day!

We recently had a crawfish boil to get together as a team and break tails. We had a great time and enjoyed each other's company. Definitely ate more than we should have. As we gear up for EMS week, I wanted to invite anyone who would love to come by to have some coffee, coffeecake and visit with our group, just to say thank you for all they do all year long. We would love to see you there Monday the 18th from 8a-10a. â™ĨïļðŸ’™

Sylvin Mersiovsky is celebrating his 80th birthday today. A photo from 2013 shows Sylvin and Ruth with our son and their grandson Braycen when they were running the EMS service here in Lee County, a service they initiated in 1969. This is a picture of them from today with Braycen as we celebrated his special day. We wish Sylvin God's continuous blessings.
