Get ready to glow at this year’s Mother Son Dance on June 5!

Enjoy a fun-filled evening of dancing, games, light refreshments and special memories together. Each family will receive digital photo downloads to remember the night 📸

Wear your brightest neon or whitest outfits to light up the party even more 🌟 Each guest will also receive a glow bracelet at the event!

Gilbert’s public pools open this Saturday, May 23, through July 18!* 🎉

We have four public pools that are open to both residents and non-residents:
💦 Greenfield Pool
💦 Mesquite Aquatic Center**
💦 Perry Pool
💦 Williams Field Pool

Day passes are $1 each for children and $3 each for adults or purchase a Splash Pass! 😎

The Splash Pass will allow the pass holder unlimited visits any Gilbert public pool listed above AND Freestone Recreation Center from May 24 - July 19, 2026.

A Splash Pass can be purchased at the center located at 1411 E Guadalupe Rd.

Desert Sky Park will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, September 4, 2026, as construction continues on Phase 2 of the park. 🚧

The closure was intentionally scheduled during the summer months, when park usage is typically lower, to help minimize impacts to the community.

Phase 2 will feature new playgrounds, splash pad, pickleball courts and more! 🎉

We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to open Phase 2 in 2028!
