Reaching new heights through hands-on training. 🪜🚒

Our crews recently practiced ladder operations, focusing on proper ladder placement, safe climbing techniques, effective communication, and coordinated teamwork. Members also worked on safely raising, positioning, and securing ladders in different scenarios they may encounter during an emergency response.

Regular training helps ensure our firefighters are prepared to use ladders safely and efficiently when accessing upper floors, rooftops, windows, or other hard-to-reach areas. Continued practice strengthens skills, builds confidence, and helps our crews remain ready when every second matters.

As students head back to school and devices become part of daily routines, remember to charge electronics safely. 🔌💻

Laptops, tablets, and phones should always be charged on a hard, flat surface. Beds, couches, and blankets can trap heat around batteries and chargers, increasing the risk of overheating.

Always use the correct charging equipment, inspect cords for damage, and unplug devices once they are fully charged.

Forcible entry training is an important part of preparing our crews to respond quickly and safely when doors, windows, or other barriers limit access during an emergency. 🚒

During this hands-on training, members practiced using specialized tools, proper entry techniques, clear communication, and coordinated teamwork. These skills help our firefighters gain access as efficiently as possible while maintaining safety and protecting property whenever circumstances allow.

Continued training ensures our crews are ready to act when every second matters.

We were so happy to be a part of Friday’s National Night Out! 🚒🚓

A huge thank you to the Gilberts Police Department for hosting such a great event and bringing our community together for a fun evening.

Thank you to everyone who came out, stopped by, and spent time with us. It was great connecting with so many families and community members, and we’re grateful to have been part of such a successful night!

Graduating from the Sherman Hospital Paramedic Program is an incredible achievement that reflects months of hard work, extensive training, and a strong dedication to helping others.

We are extremely proud of Fredy Valladares, Paul Grimmer, Evan Schroeder, Audriana Escobar, and Jake Noble for reaching this important milestone and for their commitment to providing high-quality emergency care to our community.

Please join us in congratulating them on this well-earned accomplishment!

We are excited to see them develop their skills and begin serving the residents of the Rutland-Dundee Fire Protection District in their new roles as paramedics. 🚑🎓👏

We had some very special visitors stop by the Rutland Dundee Fire Protection District! ❤️ Hoof Woof & Meow Animal Rescue brought over a few adorable puppies to spend some time with our crew.

☕ Coffee with the Chiefs was a great success!
