2026 FUND DRIVE UPDATES

In April you should have received our annual fund drive letter in your mailbox. Each year our 100% Volunteer Fire Company solicits donations to assist in providing fire and rescue services to our community.

This fundraiser generates the largest amount of money out of all of the events that we hold throughout the year. And while there is a dedicated fire tax of .4 mils in Douglass Township, that mileage only makes up a percentage of our annual budget.

Our funding comes from three main sources. Fundraising, State and Federal grants, and the Township Fire Tax. We thank each and every one of you who support our organization throughout the year. Your contributions allow us to continue to save the taxpayers millions of dollars each year.

As we quickly approach Fire Prevention Month in October, those who have not had an opportunity to return their fund drive envelope will receive a reminder mailer. If you are able, please provide a donation in any amount. You can provide a donation in three ways; by check, by Paypal and by Venmo. If you are not able, please continue to support us during our events throughout the year.

We THANK YOU for your support of our 100% Volunteer Fire Company and we have proudly served the residents, businesses and visitors of Douglass Township since our inception in 2005.
