Please use the following traffic patterns for this evenings fire prevention open house. Visitors should enter the parking lot at the entrance closest to Swamp Pike. Handicapped parking will be available in the side lot of the fire department. We ask that all other vehicles utilize the stone parking lots to the rear of the firehouse and Turkey Hill. When leaving, please exit the complex out Martin Avenue.

10/1/2026 8:07AM - Shortly after returning from an accident call, volunteers from Station 67 were dispatched to assist Earl Township Vol. Fire Co. No.1 on a second alarm building fire.

Tanker 67 and Engine 67 responded to assist with water supply and fire suppression. The fire was brought under control in under an hour and units were made available from this incident shortly after 10:00AM.

10/1/2026 6:07AM - Station 67 along with Berks Station 95 Fire Police were dispatched to Route 100 Southbound and Grosser Road for a two vehicle accident. Units arrived to find one vehicle into the back of a tractor trailer just south of the intersection. Crews secured the striking vehicle, cleaned up debris and contained fluids.

Fire police directed traffic around the accident for the duration of the incident.

Crews did have one close call with a vehicle that drove around our barricades and proceeded through the emergency scene putting all first responders at risk. That driver was stopped and cited by the Douglass Township Police Department of Montgomery County. We ask all motorists to please slow down and pay attention when emergency crews are operating on the highway.

LIVE FIRE TRAINING

9/20/2026 - Station 67 Volunteers participated in a regional live fire training at the Berks County Fire Training Campus on Sunday.

In addition to our department, members from Sanatoga Fire Company and Ringing Hill Fire Company were in attendance. Personnel were tasked with going through various scenarios with live fire. Crews were able to focus on pulling and packing hoselines, hoseline advancement, fire attack, search and rescue, radio communications and incident command.

9/18/2026 9:02AM - Station 67 was dispatched to an accident with injuries at the intersection of Grosser Road and Route 100. Units arrived to find three vehicles involved with multiple injuries.

Crews from Squad 67 stabilized and de-energized all vehicles and assisted the tow company with debris cleanup.

Fire police were on scene to control traffic around the scene for the duration of the incident.
