The Treasurer/Collector’s office will be closed August 11-13, 2026 for annual training.

Anyone making a payment may do so by utilizing the Town’s drop box or pay online at www.hardwick-ma.gov. Any payments received after the 8/3/2026 due date will be charged interest in accordance with Mass. General Law.

To obtain a receipted bill, enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope and both copies of the bill with your payment.

Hardwick New Braintree Night at the Woo sox is July 22nd ! Fire Chief Gaumond and Police Detective Almstrom will be recognized for their exemplary work in public safety. $5 per ticket sold using the link or QR code goes towards the police association’s efforts to renovate the Lower Road police station. Hardwick:

Lower Rd (Rt 32) will be closed to traffic on Saturday, July 11th starting at 7:00am through Sunday, July 12th around 3:00pm(ish) for emergency repair of the railroad crossing by Old Furnace General Store, this closure will be during the entire time as the crossing will be dug up.

Traffic will be detoured in Gilbertville at the intersection of Church St and Hardwick Rd. (Rt 32 and Rt.32A) to Hardwick center taking Barre Rd back to the intersection with Lower Rd. Residents/local traffic and those going to Hardwick Farmers Co-Op and Hardwick Crossing Country Club will need to enter those locations through Gilbertville. Anyone going to River Run, High Rd., Upper Church St., Chagnon Rd., Creamery Rd. can still use Lower Rd., they just need to tell the detail officer.

Traffic in Wheelright will be detoured at Lower Rd. / Barre Rd. intersection up Barre Rd. to Hardwick center and back down Hardwick Rd. (Rt 32). Old Furnace General Store / ATM will still be accessible at this end of the closure.

Traffic officers will be present the entire duration to assist motorists.
