Brrrr!

Well folks, it’s going to feel like Antarctica starting tonight. This is what we are expecting and preparing for:

The Arctic Front arrives this evening and will carry us into Friday.

Snow Squalls will impact the evening commute tonight. Wind gusts during the squalls are expected to be near 40mph creating near whiteout conditions. The squalls in any one area may last 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Belknap County has a WIND CHILL ADVISORY issued from midnight tonight to noon on Thursday with expected wind chills to be as low as 25 below zero tonight.

What does that mean for residents? It means it’s going to be bitterly cold! BRRRRRRRR! The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes, and frostbite and pneumonia could occur if precautions are not taken.

BUNDLE UP! If you haven’t dug those hats gloves and scarves out of the closet for winter yet, there is no better time than right now. And as a reminder, our furry friends should not be left outside in this weather, as they are susceptible to the conditions just like we are.

Calling all cars... calling all cars! We have a giveaway heading into town.

So, our friend Jillian has joined K9 Officer Curtis Mailloux and Mr. Kai for the August 10th CHaD Battle of the Badges baseball game at the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium where the New Hampshire Fisher Cats play!
