Gillette FFA is committed to the betterment of its members through CDE teams, public speaking events, community service, and agriculture education.

Attention all FFA members attending state convention, as in the past before we go to state convention parents have gotten together to make goody bags for the teams going to state convention. We are in need of different iteams to put in the bags. There will be 30 individuals going down!

For example in the past the bags have included:
Cards
Juice boxes
Water
Jerky
Cheese and crackers
Any individually wrapped candy/food
Dollar store games

Please comment below if you would like to donate anything to the Gillette FFA State Convention goody bags or if you have any question concerning this. You can feel free to drop off iteams at the Ag shop of the Campbell County High School or we will be putting them together Tuesday night at 5:30 in the Ag shop.

The Gillette FFA is starting to sell fruit. Contact or get ahold of any Gillette FFA members at Campbell county high to order some fruit. Or stop at the ag shop of Campbell county high and talk to Troy Gladson. Fruit orders are due prior to November 20th. Fruit is expected prior to Christmas break.

As this year comes to a close, we would not only like to thank the members and their families, but also the community for their continuous support to our organization. We would like to take this time to reflect on what has happened this year and what the future holds for our senior members.

What a joy it is to be taking home the 3 star chapter award. This award does not come very easy and only comes to the chapters that show dedication to the POA's. Congratulations to our chapter on all the hard work this year!

Congratulations Makala Johnson on winning the Wyoming State Ag Science Fair Animal Science Division III! Makala saw a tidbit floating around on facebook that said if you feed chickens cayenne pepper in the winter, they will lay more eggs. She decided to try it out. Turns out it does work! Great job Makala!!
