Today’s story time is sponsored by Methican American Motors….. for all your vehicle repair with stolen parts needs!!
So…….. I’ve received several complaints from citizens on Floy Lee Rd located in the City of East Mountain.
The complaints vary from high Houston style traffic up and down the road from unknown cars to high octane bike week motorcycle rallies at 3am!
With all the commotion, the citizens thought they were in a time warp where The Daytona 500 mingled with bike week in Sturgis !
One resident in particular seemed to be the main focus of such sleep interrupting activity.
Officer Hollis and I came to the realization that our sensitive feelings were hurt because we have yet to receive an invitation to the party!
We decided we would invite ourselves this evening.
We dressed for the occasion and while our vehicles were not the high performance machines of mayhem that would warrant such an invite, we came anyway!
Well, before we could make our grand appearance, as luck would have it, one lonely Wayfair Evil Knievel passed in front of me.
After I waived him past he did his best impression of Johnny Blaze and opened his Iron Steed all the way open to…….. 70 in a 55.
I assumed he wished to give me directions to the party so I hit the ole Berries and Cherries and we found a nice shady spot to converse.
He in fact did not wish to converse with me but since we were already here…… might as well inquire to his plans for the evening.
Come to find out, not only was the bike not his but he didn’t even have a motorcycle endorsement, or a valid drivers license, or insurance or registration.
What he did have was an interesting story about the m**h pipe in his back pocket.
Wouldn’t you know it, he was holding it for a friend. I mean who hasn’t done that before?
After a thorough search of him and the steal pony, no other contraband was found, apparently his friend consumed consumed satans salt already!
Eventually his fellow bikers arrived to see where their long lost friend was. It was also discovered that they were in fact the party planners that party planned nightly over the past few weeks.
They in turned brought the party to us and we greatly appreciated that!
We learned that the Galla goers were all one big motorcycle club and they enjoyed congregating on Floy Lee at their VP’s (short hand for Vice President) residence.
They assured me they were just a club and not a “gang”. I believed them because obviously Sons of Anarchy” they were not!
I had a heart to heart with the VP and politely asked that they police themselves or we would be more than willing to do it for them.
I was assured the problem would stop and the rough riders were free to go, minus one motorcycle.
Severallllllllll court date invitations were extended and a message was sent!
The message:
We love high horsepower, slicked up, shiny, modern day thoroughbred machines powered by American ingenuity and spirt as much as the next person but not at all hours of the night in our quiet little village……… oh and we want you to know that we know about your m**h fueled all weekenders and we plan on being the party poopers if it continues!!
Have a great safe, peaceful cool weekend
