We liked our new EMS bags so much that we ordered two more!

The organization, durability, and functionality of these bags have exceeded our expectations and have already proven to be a valuable asset on emergency calls. Having the right equipment readily available helps our crews provide the highest level of care when our community needs us most.

We would also like to give a special shout-out to Lightning X Products for providing quality EMS equipment that helps first responders stay organized, prepared, and ready for any situation.

The East Mountain Fire Department would like to give a huge shoutout to ABC Auto Parts for generously donating a pallet of water to our department. With the warmer weather quickly approaching, donations like this help keep our firefighters hydrated and prepared while serving our community.

🌿 KEEP’EM CLEAR 🌿

Overgrowth and vegetation around fire hydrants can slow firefighters down during an emergency.

If you have a hydrant near your home, please help us keep at least 3 feet cleared around it and a clear path to the roadway. Every second matters when firefighters are trying to locate and connect to a hydrant.

A few minutes of trimming weeds, bushes, vines, or tall grass could make a huge difference when an emergency happens.

🚒 Do your part so we can do ours.

May 4 — International Firefighters’ Day 🚒🔥

And yes… it’s also Star Wars Day… so naturally—

May the 4th be with you. 👨‍🚒✨

Today we recognize the ones who run toward what everyone else is running from… basically the real-life Jedi of the community (minus the lightsabers… but give us a charged hose line and we’ll make it work).

To all my brothers and sisters in the fire service—thank you for what you do.
