Had a lil fun tonight at our meeting!! Went over some of the basics with our Jaws of Life E-Tools.. Then played a few games to train and get more comfortable with them!! The goal was to pick up and move eggs from one cone to another, and to pick up and move plastic cups full of water with out breaking or dropping either!! Had a great time, everyone had fun together and we even learned a little bit!!

We wld like to thank Simpsonville VFD for inviting us to train with them again!! We worked on learning to draft from multiple different brush truck setups!! Everything went great, and whether is was just a refresher for some or brand new for others I think everyone learned something and we are all better off working together and learning each others equipment!!! Huge thank you to all the volunteers that continue to show up to learn and train!!!

A 27-year-old firefighter was killed and at least 10 others were injured after a massive fire and explosion ripped through a Maine lumber mill.

Officials described the scene as “very chaotic,” with multiple buildings engulfed and fire trucks destroyed. The fire reportedly spread to a nearby dust silo, which exploded.

Andrew Cross, 27, with the Morrill Fire Department, was reportedly honorably transferred Saturday morning from the local medical examiner's office to a funeral home.
