From the desk of Coach Logue-

Congratulations to the Girard Cross Country teams for their performance at the Anderson County Invitational Cross Country Meet yesterday. The boys team placed 3rd and the girls team 6th in a field of 12 teams. Medalist on the girls’ JV side included Emmalee Doubrava 14th, and Addison Bowman 15th. In the girls varsity race Ainsley Clark placed 20th in a field with 84 finishers. Medalist on the boys’ JV side included Cade Peak 12th, and Samuel Rose 13th. In the boys varsity race, Fletcher Ulbrich was 1st, Noah Gillard 5th, Gavin Jackman 28th and Gannon Knopp 29th. There were 96 finishers in the boys varsity race. This was a solid start that let us know what we need to improve on. Great Job!
