Today is Erie Gives Day!

We’re asking our friends, neighbors, and community to consider supporting A.F. Dobler Hose & Ladder Co. during Erie Gives.

Our goal this year is to raise $15,000 toward the purchase of a new hydraulic rescue tool used to free trapped victims during vehicle accidents and other rescue emergencies.

In 2025, our volunteers responded to more than 1,200 emergency calls throughout Girard and our surrounding mutual aid communities. Every one of those calls requires trained volunteers, reliable apparatus, and lifesaving equipment that is ready when it's needed.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us continue providing that service to our community. Your support stays local and directly helps equip and train the volunteers who answer the call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Tomorrow is Erie Gives Day, and we hope you'll consider supporting A.F. Dobler Hose & Ladder Co.

Every day, our volunteer members stand ready to respond whenever our community needs us. Whether it's a house fire, serious vehicle crash, medical emergency, technical rescue, or another call for help, we answer the call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In 2025 alone, our department responded to more than 1,200 emergency calls throughout Girard and our surrounding mutual aid communities.

This year's Erie Gives goal is to raise $15,000 toward the purchase of a new hydraulic rescue tool. This critical piece of equipment is used to free trapped victims during vehicle accidents and other rescue emergencies, giving our firefighters the tools they need to save lives safely and effectively.

Every dollar donated stays right here in our community. Your support helps provide lifesaving equipment, firefighter training, vehicle maintenance, technology upgrades, and the resources our volunteers rely on to protect our families, friends, and neighbors.

What an incredible evening at National Night Out at Girard High School!

A.F. Dobler Hose & Ladder Co. would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who came out to make this year's event such a tremendous success. It was an honor to spend the evening meeting members of our community, answering questions, and showcasing the work of our first responders.

We'd also like to thank the Girard Police Department, Lake City Fire Company, Lake City Police Department, the Pennsylvania State Police, West County Paramedics, and all of the amazing vendors, organizations, booths, and food trucks that helped make the event possible. Working together like this reminds us just how strong and supportive our community truly is.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, climbed on the trucks, shared conversations with us, and helped make National Night Out such a memorable event. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you again at future community events!

A.F. Dobler Hose & Ladder Company is seeking bids for snow plowing services at our station located at 37 Walnut St., Girard, PA 16417

Service Requirements:
✔️ Plowing is required when snowfall reaches 2 inches or more.
✔️ No salting or ice treatment is required.
✔️ Must be fully insured.
