The Girardville Borough Council Meeting scheduled for tonight Wednesday 8/12 at 7:30 pm is POSTPONED.

Unfortunately the agenda was not provided to the public at least 24 hours before the meeting which is a required mandate of PA's Sunshine Act. Borough Council members and Officials thoroughly apologize for this inconvenience.

Council has decided to postpone tonight, and hold the meeting NEXT WEDNESDAY 8/19 at 7:30pm. Public notice will be duly provided.

We had a great time at National Night Out last evening in Girardville! Thank you to the Rangers Hose Company for hosting!

Councilwoman Sarah Purcell, Council Vice President David Willis, and Mayor Dave "Buddy" Brennan represented Girardville Borough at the Borough table throughout the event.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of another successful community event.

🚧 Paving Project Update

There will be some work surrounding the manhole covers tomorrow (Wednesday, August 5th, 2026) on 2nd Street and sections of Ogden Street. Please use caution while crews are working in these areas.

Paving is expected to resume next week, weather permitting. 🌦️
