On Monday night at our monthly meeting, we were happy to welcome Firefighter Jeremy Parker back after he was cleared for full duty at the end of July following an injury he sustained while operating at a house fire. On behalf of our department and Jeremy, we would like to sincerely thank our community, our brothers and sisters, and everyone who has supported and contributed to helping Jeremy throughout his recovery. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity have meant so much to Jeremy, his family, and all of us. We are truly grateful for the outpouring support shown during this time.

Members got together this morning to train up and get recertified in CPR. We hope we never have to use it but we always need to be ready! Thank you to instructor J.Ball for taking his time to sharpen our CPR skills!

The fire service family is truly unmatched, and that’s especially true here in Franklin County.

Tonight, departments from across Franklin County came together to stand behind and support longtime volunteer Jeff Hodges as he battles ongoing health issues. It was a powerful reminder that no matter what department patch we wear, we’re one family when one of our own needs us.

Jeff, we’re praying for you, standing with you, and supporting you every step of the way. We wish you strength,and healing brother. Stay strong we’ve got your back. ❤️🚒🚑

It was a busy evening for our department and this side of the county. Thankfully, no one was injured. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family affected by the fire. Strong work by all fire and EMS personnel for pushing through the heat and getting the job done.

On Monday, a fellow firefighter, Jeremy Parker, from Glade Hill Volunteer Fire Department was injured in structure fire. All proceeds from our car wash on 6/20 will be given to Jeremy and his family. So come out and help us support Jeremy!
