EMERGENCY RESPONSE EXERCISE
DATE: Saturday August 1st 2026 TIME: 0900AM – 0400PM
LOCATION: Gladwin Intermediate School

On August 1st 2026 there will be an active assailant response exercise at Gladwin Intermediate School. The exercise will focus on the collaborative response between first responders to an active assailant incident. The exercise will be attended by Local Fire Departments, Police Departments, and EMS. Note Gladwin Intermediate School and Gladwin Elementary School Campuses including Parking Lots will be closed on August 1st for the exercise.

The Gladwin Police Department is looking for help to locate the person who drove over the shrubs at the Biggby Coffee. This incident occurred on 3-7-26. A witness to the incident described the vehicle as an older SUV-type vehicle, burgundy in color. The witness described the driver as a female with white hair.
