As summer comes to a close and a new school year begins, we're taking a moment to look back on what a wonderful summer we had at Glasco City Library! 📚 🌞

Our Summer Library Program was filled with reading, learning, creativity, laughter, and so many special moments shared with our community. We are incredibly grateful to every child, family, and community member who participated and helped make this summer so memorable. Your enthusiasm and support are what makes our library such a special place!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers, grant organizations, local businesses and community members who generously donated their time, resources, and funding. Your support made it possible for us to offer fun and meaningful experiences for our community all summer long. ❤️

Most of all, thank you to everyone who walked through our doors, joined an activity, checked out a book, encouraged a young reader, or simply helped spread the word. You are a big part of what makes Glasco City Library thrive!

Did you know our library currently has 102 items that are overdue to be returned? Parents - please take a moment this week to look through your bookshelves and see if any of those books belong to your local library. We are missing lots of books from our kids sections. We won't charge you a late fee, we would just like our books back so others can enjoy. Feel free to use our book drop in front of city hall anytime.

Not sure if you have an overdue book? You can stop in anytime, call the library at 785-568-2313, or message us on Facebook. We are happy to take a look for you.

FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES! Come into the library this week for free supplies. We don't have everything your kiddos will need, but we have wide ruled notebooks, loose leaf paper, pencils, pens, highlighters, folders, binders, pencil pouches & cases, rulers, and glue. COME IN & GET WHAT YOU NEED - NO HOLDS. If you cannot get here during library hours, send me a message and I can meet you in the evening. While supplies last!

Monday, July 20 - Scoops & Stories at 1:00 Enjoy stories about summer, then head to The Hodge Podge for a sweet treat!

📚 Reminder: Summer Reading Logs are due by the end of the day on Monday. Be sure to turn yours in so you're eligible for our end-of-summer prizes!

🕗 Library Hours

Monday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM | 12:30–3:30 PM | 5:30–7:00 PM

Tuesday: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Wednesday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM | 1:00–4:30 PM (closing early for pizza & pool party)

🍕🏊 Wednesday – Pizza & Pool Party! Join us for our end-of-summer library celebration!

🍕 Pizza will be served at 5:00 PM at the Shelter House. 🏊 Swimming at the pool will be from 6:00–8:00 PM.

Please RSVP for pizza by the end of the day Monday so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone. We can't wait to celebrate a great summer of reading with you! 📚☀️
