Staff members have contributed donations to help cover travel expenses. We are thinking of you and wish you well, Bonya.

There have been reports of scam calls, stating that the caller is an employee of The Barren County Detention Center and that payment is required over the phone before a loved one can be bonded out of jail.

Jail staff does NOT call anyone in regard to bond information or payments. If you receive a call like this, please report it!

I would like to extend my gratitude to Scooter's Coffee for their generous coffee donation to our staff this morning.

We are pleased to report that Christmas gifts were delivered to every inmate in our facility yesterday. Each care package contained several commissary items, a bag of coffee, a box of Christmas tree cakes, and a personalized card. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to River Lake Church for their generous donation of Christmas tree cakes and lunch for our staff, as well as the Glasgow Baptist Youth Group for providing handmade cards of encouragement.
