Since the library will be closed from August 13-31, if you’re stopping in to stock up on reading material, be sure and check out the lobby shelves as well. We have recently added new donations. $1 hardbacks and $.50 paperbacks, children’s books and teen books

We’re taking a short break to give our collection some much-needed TLC. Our library will be closed from August 13 to August 31 as we remove older and damaged materials, take inventory, and make room for new additions to our collection.

Meanwhile, your library is still open online! Enjoy eBooks, digital audiobooks, streaming, online resources, and more while we’re closed.

Need to renew your library card? Now is a great time! Make sure your card is current so you can continue enjoying our digital services.

Please note: NO LATE FEES will be charged while we are closed!

Any library programs scheduled during August will take place as scheduled, all in the Community Meeting Room upstairs.

What’s new with the Friends Of the Library??

The lobby shelves have been restocked!

The fiction shelf has the romance and light fiction. The mystery shelf has 2 shelves of mystery paperpacks and two shelves of sci-fi and fantasy paperbacks.

The non-fiction shelf has an assortment of general non-fiction.

We had several requests for religious/spiritual books at yesterday‘s one day sale so we have devoted one entire shelf to religion and spiritual.

There are also books for children’s and teens.

AND the $.25 books are back! These are the small and thin books. They are located in a box on the fiction shelf.

Hardbacks are $1, paperbacks and children’s and teens are $.50. You can pay at the front desk. 

Thank you for supporting the Library. The money earned from our sales goes to the library for their programs and activities.

LOBBY BOOK SALE THURSDAY

Stop by the library this Thursday, July 30 from 9 am-4 pm and pick up some great books to finish up your summer! We are clearing out the lobby so we can restock for fall. All books in the lobby will be Buy One, Get One free! Regular prices are $1 for adult hardbacks, $.50 for adult paperbacks, kids and teens. So get two for one, Thursday, only.
We have a variety of fiction, romance, mystery, sci-fi, spiritual, non-fiction and some kids and teens. Cash only. Exact change will be appreciated 😉

( If you can't make it by 4 pm, the library will be open until 8; so you can shop late and pay at the checkout desk, as usual.)

some teen and children’s books, but this sale is mostly adult titles.

Kids and their families can play in the sand, splash in the water, and scribble at the tables thanks to the Friends of the Library! Proceeds from our book sales made this play space on the patio possible. Thanks to your book donations and your volunteer time, we were able to make this gift to our library!

We received several new adult coloring books this week. They are $.50 each and are located on the non-fiction bookshelf in the library’s lobby. You can pay at the front desk.

We need your donations for the October book sale. These can be dropped off during the library’s normal hours. Please be aware the library is closed this Friday and Saturday for Independence Day.
