Position Opening

Operations Department: Electrical and Mechanical Technician

The Glasgow Water Company is accepting applications for the position of Operations Technician. Responsibilities include assisting with the daily operation and maintenance of the water distribution and sewer collection systems, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues at pump stations and sewer lift stations.

Qualified applicants should possess relevant hands-on experience, formal education, technical training, or industry certifications in areas such as electrical systems, mechanical maintenance, industrial technology, pumps, motors, controls, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered. Applicants should demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and operational problems.
