Fans who renewed their football season tickets can pick them up at Meet the Trojans on August 10. New season tickets for football, volleyball, and soccer will also be available for purchase. Season tickets are $40 each.

BCHS students can purchase a Pep Club membership for $20 at Meet the Trojans or from a Pep Club sponsor. The Pep Club card also serves as a student pass for ALL regular-season BCHS home athletic events.

Student passes for elementary and middle school students, valid for all regular-season BCHS home athletic events, will also be available for $20.

Support the Trojans, save money, and skip the gate lines. We look forward to seeing you at Meet the Trojans. Fight On!

Behind every successful Farm to School partnership is someone dedicated to bringing people together—and for Barren County Schools, that person is Brandi Button Johnson.

As the Western Kentucky Value Chain Coordinator with The Food Connection at the University of Kentucky, Brandi has been an invaluable partner in connecting our Nutrition Services team with regional farmers and growers. Her passion for local food systems, unwavering support, and commitment to strengthening relationships have helped make fresh, locally grown produce more accessible for the students and families we serve.

Brandi is more than a liaison—she is a champion for Kentucky agriculture, a trusted resource, and an advocate for ensuring that local foods find their way from our farmers' fields to our students' plates. Her knowledge, encouragement, and dedication have played a vital role in the success of our Summer Feeding Program and our growing Farm to School efforts.

We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and the countless ways you work behind the scenes to support our district and our local farming community.

Please join us in welcoming Susan Pace as the next principal of Eastern Elementary School. Mrs. Pace brings years of experience and a commitment to helping every student succeed. We're excited for this next chapter at Eastern and look forward to the leadership, care, and vision she will bring to the school community.

We also want to thank the Eastern Elementary Site-Based Decision Making Council for the time, care, and thoughtful consideration they invested throughout the principal selection process.

What began as seeds planted by students and staff during the school year grew into something much greater this summer. 🌱 Across our eight school gardens, an incredible 3,438.94 pounds of fresh produce were harvested during June and July, helping supply nutritious, locally grown food for children participating in Trojan's Table's summer meal program and camps.

Each campus played an important role in this shared effort:
🥕 Austin Tracy Elementary – 302.8 pounds
🌽 Eastern Elementary – 747.2 pounds
🍅 Hiseville Elementary – 492.95 pounds
🥒 North Jackson Elementary – 601.81 pounds
🌱 Park City Elementary – 409.27 pounds
🫑 Red Cross Elementary – 390.54 pounds
🥬 Temple Hill Elementary – 359.16 pounds
🍉 Barren County Middle School – 135.21 pounds

These gardens are more than places where vegetables grow—they are outdoor classrooms where students learn responsibility, teamwork, stewardship, and the value of giving back. Every pound harvested represents countless hours of planting, watering, weeding, and caring for the crops, all to nourish others.

Because of the dedication of our students, staff, and summer workers, thousands of servings of fresh produce found their way onto the plates of children throughout our community. This is what happens when education, agriculture, and service come together—and we're excited to continue growing the impact of Trojan's Table, one harvest at a time.
