Today we remembered the legacy of June Longley with a Memorial Tree Planting on the lawn adjacent to the Beach Administration Building. She spent decades serving Glassboro students as a Board of Education member and was a beloved member of the Glassboro community. The GHS Select Choir paid tribute to Ms. Longley by singing, “I Love You/What a Wonderful World," under the direction of Choir Director Elisa Contrevo.

Our talented Glassboro High School National Art Honor Society and advisor Shane Davis helped beautify downtown Glassboro recently. The group painted and restored two firefighter statues for the Glassboro Fire Department. We're proud to see our students giving back, and we're thankful to the Glassboro Fire Department for protecting our community!

Dorothy L. Bullock School students enjoyed a beautiful Field Day at New Street Park today. They rotated between inflatable slides, climbers, jungle gyms, relays, tug of war, a freeze pop station, and more!

Glassboro High School celebrated its student athletes and teams at the Sports Signing and Award Ceremony last night. Congratulations to our athletes on their hard work, accomplishments, titles, scholarships, and consistent leadership! You make us proud!

We thank parents, coaches, Athletic Director Christian Lynch, our maintenance and grounds crew, office staff, and transportation for making this possible.

Glassboro High School Band Director Arthur Myers and GHS sophomore Ijeoma Ufomba recently performed in a special side-by-side concert at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology, featuring guest piano soloist, Dr. Jasmin Lee, members of the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble (SJAWE), and 30 guest high school students. The concert was titled "250 Years of Freedom: A Grand American Jubilee!"

Ijeoma and the other high school students joined the SJAWE for six selections in the second half of the concert. Myers, a 10-year member of the SJAWE, performed in both halves of the concert and was the featured off-stage trumpet soloist for "An American Elegy" by Frank Ticheli.
