Congratulations to our Glassboro High School Marching Band for earning 1st Place in the Class I Division at the October 3rd NJ Marching Band Directors Association competition, which was hosted by Millville High School. The band also received the award for BEST MUSIC as it presented its 2026 field show, GYPSY FLAMENCO, with original music composed by Band Director, Arthur Myers, and a battery percussion score created by Trevor Smith. The marching band continues to show improvement and develop its show. The next chance to see the performance will be on Saturday, October 10th at Tournament of Bands shows at both Clayton High School (12:00 pm performance) and Washington Township High School (5:45 pm performance).

The Interact Club started the year off strong. Besides organizing Dolly Day to raise money for the Imagination Library, they also spent their weekends playing soccer with athletes that have special needs (TOPSports), sorted books at Book Smiles, and visited the Best Day of Our Life (So Far) group at Pitman Manor.

GHS wore pink on Friday 9/25 to honor Miss Dolly Parton who was a talented singer, songwriter, and businesswoman as well as a genuinely kind and generous human being. The Interact Club collected donations for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - a program that provides children with books once a month from ages 0 to 5. They also gave out pink string bracelets to those that donated.

Thanks to the generosity of our students and staff, the Interact Club will be making a $300 donation to this great cause. We are grateful for your contributions and ask you to continue to honor Dolly's legacy throughout the year by supporting literacy, being kind, and helping others!

Congratulations to our Glassboro High School Marching Band for earning 1st Place in Class I at the Clearview Regional High School NJ Marching Band Directors Association competition on September 19th. It was also awarded trophies for BEST MUSIC and BEST GENERAL EFFECT. This competition was the band’s first of the season as it band presented its 2026 field show, GYPSY FLAMENCO, with original music composed by Band Director, Arthur Myers, and a battery percussion score created by Trevor Smith. The directors are excited to continue developing the show as the season progresses. The next chance to see the performance will be at Williamstown High School on September 26th at 12:30 pm and 6:45 pm as it participates in an afternoon NJ Marching Band Directors Association show and an evening Tournament of Bands show.

GLASSBORO, N.J. — The Glassboro High School Sports Hall of Fame is proud to announce its 2026 Induction Class, recognizing an outstanding group of former student-athletes, championship teams, and a distinguished contributor whose accomplishments, leadership, and dedication have left a lasting impact on the school's proud athletic tradition. This year will be the 50th anniversary induction for the GHS Sports Hall of Fame.

The Class of 2026 will be formally inducted during a ceremony following dinner on Thursday, October 15, 2026, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Glassboro High School Sports Hall of Fame. This milestone celebration will honor not only this exceptional class but also five decades of recognizing the athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors who have shaped the rich tradition of Glassboro High School athletics.

Selected by the Glassboro High School Sports Hall of Fame Committee, this year's class represents generations of Bulldogs whose achievements have brought distinction to Glassboro High School.

Family, friends, alumni, past inductees, and members of the Glassboro community are encouraged to mark their calendars for this special celebration. The 2026 Glassboro High School Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Masso's Catering, South Delsea Drive, Glassboro, New Jersey. Refreshments will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m., with the Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony immediately afterward.

For the 50th anniversary, the Sports Hall of Fame will specially recognize founding and long-contributing members of the committee and the five Olympic Conference National Division and Sports Hall of Fame inducted teams from the 1975-1976 school year on the 50th anniversary of their winning seasons.
