Be advised, a large tree has fallen near the Clairton Glassport bridge, on the Glassport side coming into town. Use caution traffic will be directed.

‼️ Dog Found ‼️ It was found near 1st Street and Monongahela Ave, today. If you are the owner or recognize the dog, please call 412-672-4514 or 911 and let us know. The person who found the pup is hanging on to it until an owner is located. Thank you! 🐶

During National Police Week, I want to take a moment to remember Officer Sean Sluganski — a friend, a dedicated officer, and a true hero who tragically lost his life in the line of duty.

His service, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting others will never be forgotten.

Thank you to all of the officers in the 35th District and beyond who put their lives on the line each and every day to keep our communities safe. Your courage and dedication deserve our deepest gratitude and respect. 💙🖤

The South Allegheny School District conducted its annual mock DUI crash today, serving as a stark reminder to students attending prom tomorrow night about the potentially disastrous consequences of poor decision-making. Local fire departments, police departments, ambulance services, and students collaborated to recreate a fatal drunk driving accident involving prom-goers. We wish the students a safe and enjoyable prom night!

Unbeknownst to us, the utility company that has the 600 block of Monongahela closed, needed to turn off the water. We were not made aware of the entire road being closed or the water being turned off until we approached and asked. When we asked for an estimated time frame, they would not give us one. We are unsure of how many residents have been affected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, especially food businesses.
