Glastonbury Gives An initiative that assists residents experiencing a crisis situation, hindering their ability to pay for critical needs.

It is funded entirely by community contributions; with 100% of donations going directly to residents in need.

Help Glastonbury students start the school year prepared!

The Town's Social Services Department is collecting donations to support local students as they head back to school this fall.

We're currently seeking:
🎒 New K–12 backpacks
🎯 $25 Target gift cards to help purchase school supplies

Donations can be dropped off at the Riverfront Community Center (300 Welles Street) through August 15.

Every donation helps ensure local students have the tools they need for a successful school year. Thank you for helping make a difference for Glastonbury families!

The Town is proud to support the upcoming Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, taking place on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers, this nationwide effort is the largest single-day food drive in the country—and it makes a meaningful impact right here in our community.

Residents can participate by placing bags of non-perishable food items by their mailbox before regular mail delivery. Local letter carriers will collect donations and deliver them to the Glastonbury Food Pantry, helping support Glastonbury families in need.
Donations will be received and sorted by staff and volunteers at the Riverfront Community Center.

Please remember to check expiration dates, as expired items cannot be accepted.

Thank you for your continued generosity and for helping neighbors in need.
