Congrats to the South Glastonbury Public Library on their 100th Anniversary! It was a beautiful day to attend a poetry reading in celebration of their big milestone as well as National Poetry Month. Had the pleasure of meeting Glastonbury Poet Laureate and hearing poems from our State Poet Laureate and many other wonderful poets from CT! It's definitely worth making time to check out this hidden gem in South Glastonbury. Learn more at southglastonburypubliclibrary.org

Many residents have shared their concerns about road safety, especially for pedestrians and bikers. Next Thursday 3/19, come learn about our draft Road Safety Action Plan! The plan was created based on detailed analyses of traffic and crash data, results of the community survey and public meeting conducted last fall, and input from town staff and the project steering committee on which I've had the pleasure of serving. We have numerous, proven safety infrastructure projects as well as policy measures to recommend. Your engagement is vital to finalizing the plan and next steps to make our roads safer for all!
