Dear Hundred Club Members and Friends,
On behalf of our Board of Directors, I wanted to take a moment to share the incredible success of a truly remarkable day for The Hundred Club of Connecticut.
Yesterday, Tilcon Connecticut hosted an extraordinary benefit golf tournament on our behalf at the world-renowned TPC River Highlands, Cromwell, and the results exceeded every expectation. Together, we raised more than $72,000 to support the mission of The Hundred Club while welcoming 34 new members into our organization in a single day. Those new memberships alone represent approximately $8,500 in recurring annual membership revenue, helping strengthen our organization for years to come.
While those numbers are certainly exciting, they only tell part of the story.
What made this event so special was the passion, professionalism, and generosity displayed throughout the day. From the moment guests arrived, it was obvious that Tilcon had embraced our mission as their own. Their support of The Hundred Club was everywhere—from the welcome signage and traffic advisory trucks leading guests into TPC River Highlands, to our logo prominently displayed throughout the venue and even featured on the cover of the 2026 New England Golf Guide distributed to every participant. Every detail had been thoughtfully planned. Every guest was made to feel welcome. Every volunteer, sponsor, golfer, and employee contributed to creating an unforgettable experience.
One of the most touching moments of the day came when 11-year-old Remy Swiantek, daughter of fallen Yale Police Officer Gregory Swiantek, beautifully performed our National Anthem before play began. Later that afternoon, the winner of a raffle television generously donated it back to Remy, who also received additional silent auction prizes. It was a heartfelt reminder of why The Hundred Club exists and why our mission continues to inspire such incredible generosity. Events like this remind us that when communities, businesses, and individuals come together behind a common purpose, extraordinary things can happen.
I also want to thank our own Hundred Club representatives who proudly represented our organization throughout the day, including Managing Director, Dale Hourigan, Mark Roberts, Dave DelVecchia, Molly Devanney, Tim Pelton, and Eric Hanson, and everyone else who volunteered their time and energy. They represented our organization with professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine pride.
Perhaps the greatest takeaway from yesterday wasn't simply the funds that were raised. It was the momentum that was created. Yesterday showed us what is possible when people believe in our mission. It introduced dozens of new supporters to The Hundred Club, strengthened important corporate relationships, and reminded us that there are countless people who want to help Connecticut's public safety families, we simply have to continue sharing our story. That's where you can help. If you're already a member, thank you. Now we're asking you to help us grow. Tell a friend about The Hundred Club. Share our mission with your family, coworkers, neighbors, and local businesses. Introduce us to someone who believes in supporting the families of Connecticut's fallen police officers, firefighters, correctional officers, EMS personnel, and other public safety professionals.
Every new member strengthens our ability to fulfill our promise to those families when they need us most.
Yesterday proved what is possible. Now let's build on that momentum, together!
