Wednesday was a splash! Our four-legged friends had the BEST time at our Dog Swim! From big belly flops to zoomies around the pool, there were plenty of wagging tails, wet noses and happy pups!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a fun evening! Check out the photos and see if you can spot your favorite furry swimmer!

🌱 Looking to add native plants to your garden this fall? The Glastonbury Pollinator Pathway’s Fall Native Plant Sale will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon (or while supplies last!), near the main entrance of Town Hall, located at 2155 Main Street. If you’re purchasing multiple plants, consider bringing a tray to make transporting them easier.

🌊Bonus Splash Pad Hours Announced! 🌊

Ready to continue the swimming season? Additional Splash Pad hours will run through Monday, September 7th on select days. All bonus hours will be FREE. The main pool at Addison will not be open during this period.

Hours subject to change due to weather or staffing. All cancellations will be posted on the Parks and Recreation cancellation line 860-652-7689.

Join us tonight for the final concert of the summer at Riverfront Park!

Legend – A Tribute to Journey takes the stage from 6:30–8:30 p.m. 🎤🎸

📢 PLEASE NOTE: Udderly Delicious will be the only food vendor at tonight’s concert. Our other vendors had prior commitments, so we encourage you to pack snacks or dinner to enjoy during the show.

Grab your friends, bring a chair or blanket, and come enjoy an evening of great music along the river. We can’t wait to see you there!

🛟 BECOME A LIFEGUARD! 🛟

Ready to learn lifesaving skills and start a rewarding job? Our American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course is coming up!

📅 September 12, 13, 19 & 20
💰 $355 per participant
🎂 Must be at least 15 years old by the final class

The course includes Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid & AED training.

🏊 Participants must pass a prerequisite skills evaluation, including a 150-yard swim, 2-minute tread without using your arms, and a 10-pound brick retrieval.
