We were honored to have U.S. Representative Jim Himes join us for a regional roundtable on domestic violence. The Congressman, CCADV CEO Meghan Scanlon, and leaders from our 5 member organizations within Connecticut’s 4th Congressional District joined together to discuss prominent federal issues impacting local domestic services. Funding cuts, proposed rules, and other federal policy decisions threaten the work of domestic violence prevention nationwide. We are grateful for the support of all our legislators who advocate for us in D.C.
Thank you to YWCA Greenwich, The Center for Family Justice, Inc., The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, The Center For Empowerment And Education and DVCC!
