Due to complaints received from citizens and guests that visit Snider Park, we will be enforcing the no pet policy at the park in accordance with the park rules. After conversations with the park director, we feel it is best to enforce this policy. The only exception to this rule is if the animal is a certified service animal. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Public Service Announcement:

Reminder

Parking on the side of the street (on West Main Street) during ballgames is no longer allowed. The reason for this is, due to the narrow street, if vehicles are parked on the side it reduces traffic flow and makes it harder for emergency vehicles to get down in case of emergency. Officers will be enforcing this and we would like the community’s help in making things go as smoothly as possible. Vehicles parked along the side will be towed at the owners expense. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Update: Road is back open

Public Service Announcement:

Janes Mill Road between Midland and North Streets is temporarily closed for repair of a manhole. Traffic can still go down North or Midland Streets. To avoid all the confusion, you can detour Phelps Street and go to 22 or in to town. We will update when it’s opened back up.
