Access is off Notchcliff Road about 0.4 mile west of State Route 147 (Harford The site consists of 240 acres of State property. The reservation is predominately hilly with heavy undergrowth with about 5 acres of cleared and level terrain. Soils are principally sand and gravel with many rock outcrops. Access and interior roads to ranges are paved. Auxiliary entrance is surfaced with gravel. There a

re several trails in the area. A gravel/hard surface road exists to training/bivouac areas and landing zone (helicopter) areas. The area is adequate for several company-sized units to conduct field training (non-live fire) or battalion sized units to conduct an administrative bivouac and task training. Paved parking is available for approximately 350 passenger vehicles.
