🔥 RSS Glen Burnie getting after it!
In 30° weather, the Marines of RSS Glen Burnie, SgtMaj Hernandez, 20 dedicated Poolees, and 10+ motivated applicants crushed their Initial Strength Tests and proved that discipline doesn’t freeze. ❄️💪

Oh—and for the record…

In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the United States Marine Corps is reviewing and adjusting its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. Even more than being just one of the few, and the proud.. Poolee Syphrett is preparing hard core for one of the toughest routes the Marine Corps has to throw at you. That is Marine Force Recon! 👏🏻

During his time in the Delayed Entry Program, he’s rarely missed a Physical Training event, pool function, and even brought it upon himself to go train intensely in the swimming pool (rallying up his fellow poolees in the process)! 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🏊

While in Okinawa, SSgt Thayer was in charge of Training for the Band. This let him plan out the fitness plan and coordinate all our tests/annual training required for my Marines (and motivate them, as pictured!). 🗣
