A generous donation like this goes a long way in helping us support our neighbors throughout the summer. Access to basic necessities can make a meaningful difference for someone experiencing homelessness, especially during the hottest months of the year.

It was a pleasure to welcome the children back for their first day at my former Elementary School. This truly feels like a full circle moment. To all the educators, staff, coaches, mentors, and the entire community supporting these children, I wish you a wonderful new school year.

💧🏆 MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

I set a goal of delivering 32 cases of water for the Lighthouse Shelter in my hometown of Annapolis and thanks to an amazing community, we more than doubled it!

Today, we delivered 67 cases (1½ pallets including delivery fees) of water in celebration of my victory as Democratic Central Committee Member-Elect for District 32! 🎉

A special thank you to Davonte Lomax (delivery driver) , Erica Matthews, Diane McBee, and their staff and volunteers for helping coordinate and unload the delivery after two trips. And THANK YOU to everyone who liked, shared, donated, and supported this mission!

My campaign manager Candis Henson Candis Nosneh invited me to participate in the Wine & Slow Jams Festival House of Ruth DC Packaging Day Event. My Sorors and I purchased donations from the approved list and dedicated our Saturday afternoon to packaging care packages and gaining further insight into the operations of the House of Ruth Foundation. 💙💛

The current Federal Administration has reduced funding significantly.
