In 2012, Jack London Park Partners was the first non-profit organization to take up management of a state park on behalf of the people of California. JACK LONDON STATE HISTORIC PARK - Information Updated for Covid-19. Open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. The Museum, cottage, historic area, trails, picnic tables and restrooms are available for use. We are now able to lead private and public group tours. Park visitors must comply with social distancing, hygiene and face covering requirements.

Our friends at California State Parks invite you to check out the new Sonoma Developmental Center Open Space with a State Park Interpreter by hiking around the beautiful Lake Suttonfield! Meet at the intersection of Harney and Railroad in Eldridge, California on Saturday, October 24 at 9 AM. Water, hats, and sturdy shoes are recommended. This easy to moderate hike is about 2.5 miles in length on unpaved trail with slight elevation changes. Hike is expected to last at least1.5 hours. Park does not charge for entry. (English below) ¡El otoño ha llegado al parque, trayendo consigo una explosión de color! Únete a nosotros en "Colores de otoño", un evento comunitario GRATUITO donde toda la familia podrá disfrutar de la naturaleza, el arte, la cultura y la temporada.

Ven disfrazado y pasa el día rodeado de *papel picado*, comida mexicana y manualidades inspiradas en Halloween y el Día de los Mu***os. También tendrás la oportunidad de conocer de cerca la fauna silvestre de nuestra región. Contaremos con actividades para niños y adultos, organizaciones comunitarias que compartirán recursos útiles y, por supuesto, nuestra colección de cráneos y pieles de animales para que puedas explorarlas. ¡Además, todos los que vengan disfrazados recibirán golosinas!

Autumn has arrived at the park, bringing with it an explosion of color! Join us for "Autumn Colors" (*Colores de otoño*), a FREE community event where the whole family can enjoy nature, art, culture, and the season.

Come in costume and spend the day surrounded by *papel picado*, Mexican food, and crafts inspired by Halloween and the Day of the Dead. You will also have the chance to get an up-close look at our region’s wildlife. We will have activities for both children and adults, community organizations sharing helpful resources, and—of course—our collection of animal skulls and pelts for you to explore. Plus, everyone who arrives in costume will receive treats!

(English below) La caminata para observar murciélagos del año pasado tuvo tanto éxito que este octubre la haremos ¡DOS veces! Acompáñanos el viernes 23 de octubre o el viernes 30 de octubre.
Durante el recorrido, aprenderemos más sobre los animales nocturnos del parque y terminaremos visitando nuestra colonia de casi 1.200 murciélagos justo cuando empiezan a salir.
Será un paseo tranquilo, apto para todas las edades. Este programa se ofrecerá en español. Entrada: gratuita.

During the tour, we will learn more about the park's nocturnal animals and finish by visiting our colony of nearly 1,200 bats just as they begin to emerge.
