Community Consolidated School District 89 serves more than 2,200 preschool through middle school students from Glen Ellyn, Lombard, and Wheaton, Illinois. The west suburban school district in DuPage County is consistently ranked in the top 10 percent nationally. CCSD blood drives are presented twice each year in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois.

We love to hear from our new sixth graders that the Amazing Race at Glen Crest this week was, well, amazing!

From lock races 🔒 to scavenger hunts 🔎 to backpack relays 🎒 and so much more, this back-to-school evening is a great opportunity for sixth graders to get familiar with their new school and meet new friends.

Thanks to the Glen Crest Middle School PTC for organizing Tuesday's event and to our many parent volunteers and staff who made the evening a success!
